Leaving the plane was the hardest part, especially since I had a death grip on the door, but free-falling through the sky at 200km/h was exhilarating; it literally took my breath away.
The wind felt like a cushion of air suspending me in space; it was more like I was floating than falling! Once the parachute opened, my instructor and I glided gently back to earth and I could see everything that southern California and parts of Mexico have to offer. Although the total dive time, from exiting the plane to reaching the ground, was only 8 minutes, when I touched the ground, I was on top of the world.
Wow nice pictures, that looks so fun and scary too. I want to try skydive, but I fear of heights. After seeing this I increasingly want to try. Anyway thanks for sharing, it's interesting. If you interested to visit Indonesia, you can check my blog for some reviews :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your response.
ReplyDeleteSkydiving was my favorite extreme adventure! If you go with a jump instructor, there are no worries; they do all of the work for you. The free-fall is not like that scary feeling when you feel like you're falling in your sleep. It's more peaceful and graceful. You should try it; I can guarantee as soon as you do, you'll be planning your next dive.
Indonesia seems like a beautiful mysterious place and I've yet to go. I hope that one day I can I can say that I've experienced its vivid colors, dramatic scenery, and diverse culture.
Good luck with your blog; I'll be sure to check it out.
